From the Strip’s first karaoke lounge to Warby Parker’s first outpost in Nevada, the city’s newest offerings will keep you coming back for more.
PLAY With more than 40 private rooms, KAMU Ultra Karaoke (kamukaraoke.com) is sure to be the site for many “only in Vegas” memories when it opens at Grand Canal Shoppes later thisspring. As the first high-end karaoke club on the Strip, guests can belt out their go-to songs while enjoying bottle service and top-notch cuisine.
SHOP At long last, corrective lens wearers can get their fix of Warby Parker (warbyparker.com) frames in its first brick-and-mortar boutique in Nevada. The N.Y.-based “transformative lifestyle brand” has taken the eyewear industry by storm and has upped the cool factor on wearing glasses since the company’s founding in 2010. The new Downtown Summerlin boutique is as chic as the frames within, anchored by a colorful mural by artist Yeye Weller.
SEE It seems as though Las Vegas can’t get enough of global music sensation Robbie Williams, or maybe it’s the other way around. The icon will return to Las Vegas for a 2020 residency bringing his “biggest hits, some swing songs and a few special surprises” back to Wynn Las Vegas’ Encore Theater (wynnlasvegas.com). Following the huge success of his 16 sold-out shows in the past year during three residency runs, Robbie Williams Live in Las Vegas will give fans eight new chances to see him from March 24 to April 4.
EAT Scotch 80 Prime (palms.com) has given foodies another reason to indulge with its recently appointed executive chef Daniel Ontiveros, who brings his experience at Joël Robuchon and Thomas Keller’s Bouchon to reimagine steakhouse favorites.
