Still a rebel after all these years, Madonna plays the MGM Grand Garden Arena on October 24.
When you hear the name “Madonna,” a dozen images come to mind, some quite unprintable in a respectable magazine, most of them glorious, all reflections of the outrageously postmodern ’80s powerhouse who changed the face of pop music and popular culture. From her first album, 1983’s Madonna, to her newest, 2015’s Rebel Heart, and on every tour in between—she visits MGM’s Grand Garden Arena again on October 24—she has started trends in sound and vision or followed them with a level of panache that has made them seem uniquely hers. The first and second singles from Rebel Heart, “Living for Love” and “Ghosttown,” both hit number one on Billboard’s Dance Club Songs chart, her 44th and 45th times at the top spot, giving her more number-one positions than any artist on any single Billboard chart. And there are at least that many reasons to not miss this show. For tickets, call the MGM Grand Garden Arena box office at 702-531-3826 or visit mgmgrand.com
