We’ve all heard of Dry January, but have you taken part in Veganuary?
For the fifth year in a row, Vegans, Baby is putting on Vegan Dining Month starting Jan. 1, 2022 in Las Vegas.
“More and more people have turned to a vegan lifestyle and the number continues to grow for those taking part in the international month-long challenge for Veganuary,” said Vegans, Baby founder Diana Edelman. “Vegan Dining Month is a fantastic way we can help support our incredible local restaurants while doing good for people, the animals and the environment. There are new restaurants participating this year, which means new offerings of delicious plant-based food. I am excited to share what our partners have been working on with the vegan community and those vegan-curious diners out there!”
The vegan-living celebration partners with some of your favorite restaurants to offer special vegan menus with the intention to give vegan and vegan-curious eaters the opportunity to better get to know local chefs and restaurants. Meanwhile, restaurants can learn more about the extent of the plant-based demand and expand their options.
Sponsored by Pleese Cheese, the month-long event includes more than 30 restaurants across the city, including Barry’s Downtown Prime, Main St. Provisions, TIABI Coffee & Waffle, The JOLT Coffee, Golden Fog Coffee, Graze Kitchen, Tacos+Beer, Yukon Pizza, Tommy Rocker’s and Valencian Gold, among others.

In addition to offering delicious, plant-based delicacies, Vegan Dining Month supports a great cause. Since it began, it has raised over $15,000 for local and national animal-oriented non-profit organizations. In particular, every restaurant participating this year will donate a portion of proceeds to The Churchill Foundation, a local volunteer-operated organization dedicated to rescuing animals from local shelters.
