Standing at 7’1”, Shaquille O’Neal is a force to be reckoned with. Not only is he one of the most talented basketball players in history with a spot in the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, but he is famous for a host of other reasons. From acting to music to gaming with a splash of philanthropy, he really does do it all.
His latest endeavor is hosting The Event presented by Pepsi Stronger Together— The Shaquille O’Neal Foundation inaugural charity gala on Oct. 2, 2021. Located at MGM Garden Arena in Las Vegas, The Event will feature a wide range of fan favorite singers with even more artists still to be announced. Justin Bieber, Kelly, Clarkson, Andra Day, Imagine Dragons and Snoop Dogg are headlining the gala and will put on a show like never seen before.

The Shaquille O’Neal Foundation was founded by Shaq himself in partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. The foundation strives to give underserved children paths to be able to reach their potential. Instilling hope and bringing change to lower income communities is a passion of O’Neal's and one that he relates to on a personal level. No matter what, he wants to create a world with bright futures for every child despite where they may come from and what their socioeconomic differences are.

To abide by their COVID-19 guidelines, all guests must show proof of their final vaccination dose that was done no earlier than two weeks prior via the CLEAR Health Pass. However, if children under 11 years of age are attending the event this requirement is not mandatory, and they must wear a mask at all times.
All proceeds from The Event will be specifically donated toward supporting the lives of underserved children in Las Vegas, Atlanta and beyond.
