Music mogul, designer and entrepreneur Sean “Diddy” Combs does everything with style. Whether it’s with music, fashion or fragrance, Combs continues to build an empire of luxury brands. The latest: a multimillion-dollar partnership with Cîroc vodka, an ultrapremium spirit distilled fromFrench grapes. “It’s just the smoothest vodka around,” Combs says. “It goes better with food, and because of that you’re less likely to have a hangover. If I could give a definition of how I like to celebrate, I want a smooth night; I don’t want a rocky night, I don’t want anything that’s unsexy. And that’s what sets Cîroc apart from the rest—it’s the smoothness.” While the “It’s All About the Benjamins” star doesn’t have one favorite Las Vegas hot spot for partying, preferring to bounce from Tao to XS to the Playboy Club, he does have a signature drink—the Diddy, “a perfect combination of Cîroc and lemonade.”
“In Vegas you get to go club-hopping, you get to enjoy yourself, and I like to be where it’s happening at that moment,” he says.
After a night on the town, the rap impresario also likes to experience the Strip’s many hotels, from The Palazzo to Luxor, Caesars Palace or MGM Grand. “I’m a collector of suites,” Combs explains.
However, his pinnacle of Las Vegas partying was the night of the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards, when a who’s who of rock crashed his suite at the Palms where the mega music event was being held. “I was the only one who had a suite in the hotel,” Combs says of the 48-hour party marathon. “Everybody was staying there, so after hours every recording artist was just there in the room, chilling, eating, dancing, watching TV. It was great.”
Britney Spears, a Bad Boy for Life and pitchers of Cîroc-infused Diddy cocktails—sounds like one night to remember.
