FRENCH BLISS Las Vegas’ only three-Michelin-starred restaurant, Joël Robuchon, is back with its storied 15-course dining experience at MGM Grand. To toast the occasion, the restaurant is offering its most beloved dishes from over the years, a testament to the influence of Joël Robuchon, the late legendary chef. Led by executive chef Christophe de Lellis, menu highlights include Le Caviar Imperial (king crab served in a crustacean gelee and topped with Osetra caviar) and La Langoustine (truffled langoustine ravioli teamed with simmered cabbage and foie gras sauce), among others. Sister concept L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon has also returned with its own lineup of new dishes, from caramelized frog legs served on creamy spelt risotto to a white chocolate sphere paired with fresh raspberry and yuzu ice cream. POUR DECISIONS Resort mixologist Mariena Mercer Boarini, who rose to popularity thanks to her bestselling Verbena cocktail at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas’ Chandelier Bar, now calls Wynn Las Vegas and Encore home, where she’s leading each property’s beverage programming. Outside of hotel life, Mercer Boarini’s star status continues to rise with her most recent collaboration with Drifter Craft Cocktails, through which she’s created a canned passion fruit caipirinha. “I’ve always loved the idea of ready-to-drink canned cocktails, but they have always been one of those things that sounds good in theory, like hot yoga, but not so much in practice,” she quips. “To be able to take a cocktail from a fancy bar and democratize the experience, yet not compromise the flavor or quality, that’s the canned cocktail that I dreamed of.” Sample the fruits of her labor at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas and MGM Grand. driftercraftcocktails.com
