Eduardo Cordova has impacted the nightlife and social scene in Las Vegas for over a decade. “New York, San Francisco and Las Vegas are the top three destinations for gays in the U.S.,” he mentions.

He observed his friends and colleagues diversify the Los Angeles social scene and community which inspired him to bring similar events and elements to the Vegas scene. By working with people like Andy Masi of Light Group, Jason Strauss of Tao Group and other leaders in the Las Vegas nightlife and hospitality industry, Cordova began to bring upscale and elevated events to the strip and the Vegas valley.

“My brand started as elevating gay nightlife in Vegas. I would take venues like Revolution Lounge at Mirage [Hotel & Casino] and Bond Bar at The Cosmopolitan [of Las Vegas]...[and organize] a mixer type of night,” Cordova shares of his earlier days “where the queer community could dress up, feel welcomed and fill the space."

Eventually Luxor Hotel and Casino caught on to the success of one of Cordova’s events at what was known then as Cathouse Boutique Nightclub. His event took place on Sunday nights while the hotel and casino hosted a pool party on Sundays as well. The Luxor team decided to join forces with Cordova to bring Temptation Sundays.

He continues to direct the trajectory of the Las Vegas LGBTQ+ social scene. “The main part to me is to create safe places for queer communities to express themselves. It is super important for LGBTQ youth to come out, feel safe and not feel alone,” Cordova says.
