NFL Las Vegas Raiders former team captain Alec Ingold hosted the 2022 Alec Ingold Youth Football Summit to give 100 foster children the opportunity to train with Super Bowl sensation and former Raiders player Rod Martin along with the present Raiders punter A.J. Cole and the Palo Verde High School varsity football team and coach Joe Aznarez on June 24. The group of NFL athletes and Palo Verde football players and coach transformed the Las Vegas Sports Park to inspire and guide children in their football and life skills.
Foster youth ranging from third to eighth grade attended with the help of non-profit organization Raise the Future. A momentous experience was had by all as the children learned from NFL professionals best techniques, practices, drills and sportsmanship etiquette.
Creating this opportunity is especially significant to Ingold as he was adopted and aims to inspire those of similar life circumstances with his success story. He shared his childhood memories of his adoption, his hardships and how he overcame them. His story continues to motivate others to achieve their dreams and succeed despite all of the challenges in life.

The Vegas Golden Knights got in on the action of inspiring less fortunate youth with their mascot Chance who entertained with slick dance moves and energy-boosting interactive exercises. Once the activities came to an end, the group enjoyed a team meal together of burgers and fries. Each attendee left with tools and strategies to succeed, confidence, hope and a custom backpack with a personalized event t-shirt and hat along with a miniature boombox and a certified hockey puck autographed by various hockey players from Vegas Golden Knights.
The event was made possible with the time and efforts of many professional athletes, the Palo Verde High School varsity football team and coach and sponsors including IGT, Gaudin Porsche, Gaudin Ford, ROC Title, Inscriptagraphs Memorabilia, Momentum Sports Management and Bumpboxx. The Ingold Family Foundation continues to cultivate environments and opportunities to inspire and motivate others to transform seemingly out of reach dreams into attainable goals with the support of the foundation and community leaders.
