New Menu Items to Try in Vegas This Fall

What better way to get in the seasonal spirit than with new culinary additions from these six Vegas restaurants?

Bottiglia

Bottiglia.

Summer’s unofficial close brought the debut of Bottiglia’s new Sunday brunch service, available at the Green Valley Ranch restaurant from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The menu’s highlights include prosciutto and eggs Benedict, bourbon maple syrup-drenched French toast, and a trio of shareable pastas—plus sangrias, mimosas, and bellinis to start your morning off right. Bazaar Meat

Most diners are at least slightly daunted by Bazaar Meat’s dinner menu, the centerpiece of which, naturally, is a whole roasted suckling pig. Luckily the restaurant’s new Bar Centro menu, offered nightly beginning at 5 p.m., erases the intimidation factor from the experience, providing an introduction to chef José Andrés’s cooking via smaller bites like gazpacho shots, beef tartare sliders, and, yes, suckling pig sandwiches. Other Mama

Off-Strip hot spot Other Mama is expanding its menu of sustainable seafood this fall, adding dishes like grilled Spanish octopus with black beans and lobster tostadas with cherry tomatoes, cilantro, and avocado. Also joining the lineup are fried oyster sliders on brioche buns, pan-roasted skate with a miso cauliflower purée, and Japanese whitefish in a spicy aguachile sauce. 3655 S. Durango #6, 702-463-8382

Beer Park

Beer Park.

There’s no better time than fall in Vegas to enjoy some good old-fashioned barbecue, and this football season, Beer Park is bringing the heat with the addition of several new beechwood-smoked treats. Kick back at the rooftop hangout with a half rack of apricot-glazed ribs and Budweiser-brined chicken drumsticks, or opt for smoked pastrami and pulled pork sandwiches, baked beans, and slaw. Beauty & Essex

This fall’s seasonal addition to Beauty & Essex’s “Jewels on Toast” selection sees olive oil-grilled bread topped with apple-spiced Brussels sprouts, pumpkin goat cheese, pancetta, and pumpkin seed brittle. Dining with a group? Designed to serve four, the restaurant’s newly launched $2,000 dinner package includes seven courses—from oysters to doughnuts—plus a bottle of Dom Perignon and a pearl necklace from the space’s on-site retail store. Standard & Pour

Henderson-based Standard & Pour, the newest addition to the late Kerry Simon’s Simon Hospitality Group portfolio, opened at the end of August with a menu of whimsical novelty dishes (three-cheese macaroni, kimchi tacos) and more traditional classics (tuna tartare, rib-eye caps). With fall in mind, we’re eyeing the restaurant’s carrot risotto with black truffles, the date and bleu cheese jam on bacon bread, and cheesecake blondie with merlot ice cream. 11261 Eastern Ave., Henderson, 702-629-5523
