Rookie Olivia Rodrigo earned seven Grammy nominations.
After the Grammys January postponement, the highly-anticipated awards show is finally almost here. Read on for all the details.
Music’s biggest night is taking over Las Vegas. After the sudden move of the ceremony from January to April, the Grammys had to exit Los Angeles for the time being to find an accommodating space. Now set for the MGM Grand Garden Arena, the Recording Academy will honor the year’s best in the industry on April 3 from 5-8:30 p.m. PT/8-11:30 p.m. ET. Those with cable can tune in live on CBS, while anyone who has cut the cord can stream live and on demand on Paramount Plus. What’s more, anyone can watch the Grammy Awards Premiere Ceremony ahead of the main telecast on live.grammy.com and the Recording Academy’s YouTube channel.
After doing a standout job at last year’s Grammys, Trevor Noah is back as host. The Daily Show host and comedian will serve as an excellent guide through the night’s performances, surprises and upsets.
"Trevor was amazing as our host for the 63rd GRAMMY Awards with praise from the music community, music fans and critics," Harvey Mason Jr., CEO of the Recording Academy, said upon the original announcement. "We're so excited to welcome Trevor back to the GRAMMYs stage and feel fortunate to once again have him hosting what we believe will be an unforgettable evening."

Though the Grammys’ main purpose is to hand out awards, much of the night is usually devoted to performances. This year, the lineup includes J Balvin with Maria Becerra, John Legend, Silk Sonic, Carrie Underwood, Maverick City Music, Aymée Nuviola, Billy Strings, Jon Batiste, Brothers Osborne, BTS, Brandi Carlile, Billie Eilish, Cynthia Erivo, H.E.R., Lil Nas X with Jack Harlow, Leslie Odom Jr, Nas, Ben Platt, Olivia Rodrigo, Chris Stapleton and Rachel Zegler.
It’s time one of show biz’s finest gets some recognition. The 12-time Grammy winner will be honored ahead of Sunday’s ceremony on April 2 at the Recording Academy Honors Presented by the Black Music Collective. For his personal and professional achievements in music, John Legend will receive the first-ever Recording Academy Global Impact Award.
"It is our distinct honor to celebrate John Legend as the inaugural recipient of the Recording Academy Honors' Global Impact Award," said Valeisha Butterfield Jones, co-president of the Recording Academy. "John is one of the most important artists of our time, someone who leads by example and pushes important boundaries consistently across music, philanthropy and activism. His contributions and impact to music and our culture are unparalleled."
