The brainchild of Lin Jerome and Alexandra Lourdes of the Refined Agency (therefinedagency.com), the third Women Who Slay celebration returns Sept. 28 to 30 alongside partners Kelley and Victoria Fertitta of lifestyle blog Wilson Gabrielle (wilsongabrielle.com). This is a chance for aspiring entrepreneurs and social media mavens to get access to the movers and shakers—or “boss babes,” as Jerome calls them— who’ve already made the leap into following their dreams. “It’s basically us focusing on women who really have made their passions a reality and celebrating their successes,” Jerome says. Hosted at the Palms Casino Resort, top influencers and like-minded women converge with festivities starting Friday night with an intimate VIP dinner ($225 per person) at Scotch 80 hosted by Wilson Gabrielle featuring one of the only female master sommeliers in the country, Lindsey Geddes. Saturday includes a mimosa-hour shopping experience prior to the heart of the event: the influencer panel and workshops. Panelists include local female influencers such as shoe designer Aminah Jillil, Aubrey Marunde of HGTV’s Flip or Flop Vegas and Knoxville, Tenn.-based social media influencer Maria Antoinette Loggins, aka the Queen of Beauty. After the moderator leads the panel discussion, the audience is encouraged to ask their burning questions. The group is then divided into smaller breakout sessions for further networking and tips. “It’s really a way for these ladies to share how they got to where they are today,” says Jerome. Here’s to inspirational women and those who help them!
