After less than a year of owning his house, Gene Simmons put his Las Vegas Valley estate on the market for $14.95 million.
Most well known for being the Kiss’ rock legend, the style of his home juxtaposes this more famous persona. The contemporary, modern property is located in the luxurious gated community Ascaya, offering an estate with beautiful views of the valley and the Vegas Strip. According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Simmons first purchased the home in May for $10.8 million.
The house itself boasts 11,000 square feet with three levels, including a lower level basement, six bedrooms, eight bathrooms and 11 garage spaces. To gain access to this huge property, guests must go through the front courtyard and walk over a koi pond on a floating path. Once entered, you are greeted with seamless floor-to-ceiling windows, which are incorporated throughout the house for easy access to take in the jaw-dropping views. In my opinion, one of the best views is from the kitchen. Unsurprisingly, the Strip makes for a breathtaking backdrop to any dish you are making in this kitchen that is filled with sleek stainless-steel appliances and tastefully decorated with sexy pops of red accents.

For easy access to the three different levels of the house, there is not only a modern staircase, but also a commercial elevator for days that you aren’t feeling up to trekking up the stairs. This desert mansion features one of the coolest built-in tropical fish tanks I’ve ever seen; an 11-seat, state-of-the-art theater and a backyard that is to die for.
Serving as the perfect entertainment hub, the backyard has a relaxing, resort feel to it. It features an infinity pool and spa with an extravagant underwater light system and open access to the bar from inside the estate. Also, this nearly one-acre property has a beautiful private garden with a walking trail throughout, which allows its owners to be able to quietly take in nature in the comfort of their own home.
The gated community that the mansion is located in is one of the most prestigious neighborhoods out there. Ascaya offers safe, luxurious and private living for all its homeowners. Additionally, the community provides access to their 23,000-square-foot clubhouse, fitness center, pool and spa, tennis courts and recreation room, which gives the Ivan Sher Group of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Nevada Properties so much more to ensure that this house gets sold in no time.
