Feast your eyes on Caesars Palace. It’s getting Las Vegas’ next great bakery.
Slated to open Sumer 2022, James Beard Award-winning pastry chef Dominique Ansel is set to bring his culinary talents to the hotel.
"I'm thrilled to be heading out West,” Dominique Ansel said. “We've known the Caesars team for several years and truly believe that we're aligned in quality and creativity to bring something special to visitors and locals alike. We're quite conservative in where we choose to grow and open our shops, and at the end of the day, it's all about the team you build. There's so much talent in Las Vegas and we're excited to be amongst some of the best. As with all our shops, we'll be developing brand new items inspired by our new home and limited-edition exclusives just for Las Vegas, so expect some delicious surprises."
For those looking to snack on a delectable treat instead of a savory meal, Dominique Ansel Las Vegas will be located right next to the Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill. It will feature a state-of-the-art-kitchen, cafe-style seating and an extensive retail area to quickly pick-up sweets while on the go.
"Our relationship with Dominique dates back many years and we've long spoken about bringing his incredible talent to Las Vegas. We are delighted that the time is right to create something true to Dominique's incredible vision and unique to Caesars Palace," said Caesars Entertainment Regional President Sean McBurney. "For more than fifty-five years, Caesars Palace has brought extraordinary experiences to our guests. We're proud of our legacy in the food and beverage space, and we know Dominique Ansel Las Vegas will raise the bar, yet again, with its innovative creations and unforgettable confections."
The selection of baked goods will, in fact, feature Ansel’s most infamous innovation yet: the Cronut®. Since 2013, the croissant-donut hybrid has gained a viral following and for good reason. Each one is rolled in sugar, filled with cream and topped with glaze. Other signature creations will include the DKA (Dominique’s Kouign Amann, similar to a caramelized croissant), a cookie shot (a warm chocolate chip cookie shaped like a shot glass and filled with Madagascan vanilla milk) and frozen s’mores, which come served on a smoked willow wood branch for an authentic campfire flavor. The rest of the menu will come to include brand-new creations exclusively made for Las Vegas.
