Las Vegas’ very own Nicole Yniguez and Emelyn Yniguez share their message through dance on CBS Television Network’s Come Dance with Me. Trained dancers ages 9 to 15 choose a family member with no dance experience as their dance partner. Mother Nicole Yniguez and Emelyn Yniguez, were selected to film in Australia and compete on the show against other dance duos.
The 14-year-old Bloc Agency LA-signed dancer and actor began her training at the age of two. Emelyn continues to advance her career with each booking.
The audience and judges alike are moved by the Vegas mother-daughter duo’s contemporary performance. The pair danced to Mariah Carey’s “Anytime You Need a Friend,” their emotion and passion captivated everyone. Tears flowed on stage, in the audience and on the couches of those watching from home.
As Emelyn proves that it is never too soon to work towards your dreams, her mother Nicole confirms that it is never too late either. “As a kid, I always wanted to dance but my parents were working and couldn’t drive me to many after school activities. This is a childhood dream of mine that I get to share with my daughter,” says Nicole.
Having just turned 40, this mom had long ago come to terms with her childhood dance aspirations never being realized. “For me, the show was totally unexpected," she says. It was never my plan. I have been doing youtube and social media as a mom influencer for almost 11 years,” Nicole shares.

However, for Emelyn, this show is one of the many stepping stones that guides her creative path. When she is not on the set of television shows like CBS's Dance with Me and Dreamworks Junior's Gabby's Dollhouse, this young lady can be seen in the music videos of major hip-hop and rock artists. Blink 182’s “Darkside” official music video opens with the very first scene of Emelyn's flossing dance solo.
The Barbie official music video for “We’re Taking Over” features Emelyn Yniguez as she dances her way to her career's success. The song encourages girls with lyrics like, “I can be anything that I wanna be. When there’s a ceiling, you know we break it.” The message of the Barbie official music video seamlessly aligns with Emelyn Yniguez’s motivation to perform. “Dance gives me the opportunity to inspire other people and other kids to follow their passion,” she expresses.
The steady pursuit of one's true goals and dreams can lead to success as the exciting journey of Emelyn Yniguez demonstrates. “My goal for my future is to go on tour with any big artist. I really want to tour with Beyoncé or Justin Bieber. I’d love to perform with JLo because she is so amazing at dancing!” the budding star confesses. With all of the opportunities Emelyn has taken to showcase her hard work and talent, her big tour booking may be right around the corner!
