While Nevadans are no stranger to couturière Coco Chanel’s luxury French fashion house thanks to its five boutiques dotting the Strip, the iconic brand has now added a sixth location to its lineup, at Wynn Las Vegas. Opened in October, the new 8,000-square-foot boutique is home to the complete Chanel collection, from ready-to-wear apparel, handbags, shoes and costume jewelry to watches, fine jewelry, fragrance and beauty products. Reminiscent of Mademoiselle Chanel’s iconic Paris apartment at 31 rue Cambon, the Peter Marino-designed space oozes glamour with black, white and metallic gold accents. Think custom beige and black metallic furnishings, vintage lighting, gold leaf and poured resin walls and paintings depicting white camellias by artist Peter Dayton. Virginie Viard’s fashion-forward collections line the walls of the two luxurious ready-to-wear salons, while two sparkling crystal and gold chandeliers illuminate the fully stocked shoe salon. (There are even French double doors that lead to an outdoor terrace overlooking Wynn’s Lake of Dreams and the Wynn waterfall.) Finally, a sparkling salon filled with Chanel’s dazzling watches and fine jewelry awaits fashion hounds with its own separate entrance. Peruse its Coco Crush, Camélia and Comete collections, plus the J12 Caliber 12.1 timepiece—the latest iteration of the storied J12—as you see how pieces look on in a Louis VX gilded wood mirror. Let the retail therapy begin. 702.765.5505, chanel.com; wynnlasvegas.com
