An Intimate Evening with Santana: Greatest Hits Live: Presented by SiriusXM has been extended through next year.
The new series of dates marks a decade that Carlos Santana has performed at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino’s House of Blues. In that time, the legendary artist’s residency has become a must-see concert experience.
This year, Satana will round out the year with performances throughout November and December, capping the 2021 season with a performance on Dec. 12. His 2022 sets will kick off on Jan. 26, 2022, with other dates in February and May.
The extension of Santana’s residency comes just as he is getting ready to release his new album. Out Oct. 15, Blessings and Miracles features collaborations with Chris Stapleton, G-Eazy, Diane Warren, Steve Winwood, Chick Corea, Rick Rubin, Corey Glover, Kirk Hammett, Ally Brooke, American Authors, Narada Michael Walden and Rob Thomas.
“The title of this album comes from my belief that we’re born with heavenly powers that allows us to create blessings and miracles,” Santana said. “The world programs you to be unworthy of those gifts, but we have to utilize light, spirit and soul.”
Tickets for the 2022 slate go on sale Oct. 9 at 10 a.m. and prices begin at $99.50 before fees. Purchases can be made through the House of Blue, Mandalay Bay or Ticketmaster websites. Those with a Citi card have special access to the Citi presale, which starts Oct. 6 at 10 a.m. Presales from the House of Blues, Live Nation, Ticketmaster and Foundation Room start Oct. 7 at 10 a.m. Customizable VIP packages that include limited edition photos and specialty food and beverages will be available for fans to select from.
