Ten florists compete at the 2022 American Institute of Floral Designers National Symposium at The Forum Shops at Caesars July 4 to 8. The winner will be awarded with America's cup and proceed to compete at the international 2023 Interflora World Cup floral design competition which takes place in England. A chance to place in the Interflora World Cup inspires contestants to create their most skilled and impressive designs.
With a wide range of artistic expression, the competitors incorporate sculptural, color theory and textural elements to put together their most unique and awe-inspiring works while completing design challenges. Here are some of America's most talented floral designers that were selected for the 2022 America's Cup competition.

Department of Floristry, Detroit
Design director of Smithers-Oasis North America Laura Daluga is also general manager for Flowers for Dreams Detroit. Museums, exhibitions and publications have showcased her creations and she was the winner of people's choice in the 2016 Iron Designer of America and a FTD America's Cup finalist in 2018.
Artistic Blooms, Chicago
Two-time winner of the title of Iron Designer at the International Floriculture Expo, Adam Havrilla, brings his 25 years of professional floral artistry to the FTD America's Cup. He specializes in wedding arrangements for bouquets, tablescapes and floral arrangement columns and towers.
Orchid Dynasty, Salt Lake City
Co-founder of Orchid Dynasty Shelly Huynh creates dresses made of fresh flowers and mentors the next generations of floral design. She continues to push the boundaries of possible through her artistic floral installations.
Herbert E. Berg Florist, Worcester, MA
Herbert E. Berg Florist owner and operator Sally Jablonski has competed in several FTD competitions including the Tokyo 1989 FTD World Cup. She placed second in the Connecticut State Floral Design Competition following a 16 year hiatus from competitions.
Infinite Gift, Coral Gables, FL
Jenna Sleeman won Designer of the Year and Ian Prosser's Bridal Bouquet Competition. She collects floral design practices, techniques and methods from all around the world. Sleeman also takes the time to volunteer each month to offer floral arrangement as a theraputic solution for the residents of an assisted-living facility.
Dr. Delphinium, Dallas
Author of Perishable Poetics: Manifesting Emotion through Contemporary Floral Design Jenny Thomasson leans into reflecting our deepest emotions through floral design. In 2015 and 2018 Thomasson presented at the American Institute of Floral Designers National Symposium. In 2016 and 2018 she was the North America representative at Belgium's Fleuramour.
