Italian fine jeweler Roberto Coin sets up shop at Caesars Palace.
Roberto Coin’s marble-ous new Caesars flagship.
Much like Las Vegas itself, the Italian fine jewelry brand Roberto Coin has come an impressively long way in a short period of time. Founded by its namesake owner and his business partner, Peter Webster, in 1977, the celebrity-favorite atelier has ascended the retail hierarchy in its four decades, earning high praise for its romantic, classically inspired pieces made from 18-karat gold, diamonds, and colored gemstones. In recent years the brand has added several strategically placed West Coast boutiques in cities like Palm Desert and Manhattan Beach, as well as a brand-new Vegas flagship store inside the Appian Way Shops at Caesars Palace. “We’ve seen incredible growth in our Las Vegas clientele in recent years,” says Webster, “so this expansion really felt like the right fit at the right time.” The brand’s 10th standalone boutique in North America, the Caesars store showcases a minimalist, Champagne-toned design scheme anchored by two holographic jewelry displays that introduce guests to signature elements of Coin’s oeuvre, including his ultramodern Pois Moi collection, sleek Black Jade line of asymmetrical pendants and earrings, and whimsical, wildlife-inspired Animalier bangles—each signed, naturally, with the jeweler’s singular finishing touch, a hidden ruby for prosperity.
