There’s 24-carat magic in the air at Bellagio Resort & Casino, where 15-time Grammy Award-winning entertainer Bruno Mars will open a swanky jazz and cocktail bar in early 2024. Aptly known as The Pinky Ring—a piece Mars commonly dons as an accessory to his signature '70s-inspired ensembles—the dazzling watering hole promises to be a lively blend of mood lighting, specialty cocktails, live music and guest DJs spinning vinyl records. While details on the menu have yet to be revealed, we have a sneaking suspicion there will be plenty of libations featuring Mars' SelvaRey Rum.
“I’ve been performing in Vegas for years, and I’ve always wanted a place where I could throw glamorous parties when I’m in town,” says Mars, who will ring in the new year on the Strip at Park MGM with shows on select nights between Dec. 22 and 31 at Dolby Live. “A place that felt like my personal penthouse suite, with live music and sensational cocktails. The Pinky Ring is that.”
The Bellagio is a fitting location for the Mars-led lounge, as the property is no stranger to exquisite cocktail and entertainment concepts, from its enchanting dinner-and-a-show hot spot, The Mayfair Supper Club, to the piano-clad Petrossian Bar. The Pinky Ring will be located on the hotel’s casino floor in a space that previously housed the Lily Bar & Lounge.
“There’s nobody in the world as fabulous as Bruno Mars. It’s been a fun experience to let him take the reins to reimagine this space. From the carpet to the ceiling, this is all him,” says Ari Kastrati, MGM Resorts International’s chief hospitality officer. “As we celebrate Bellagio’s 25th anniversary this year and look toward the future, collaborating with one of the entertainment industry’s biggest stars to reimagine what a night out in Las Vegas should be represents an incredible moment in this resort’s story.” How’s that for uptown funk?
