Kenzie “TCB” Morrison (19-0-2, 17 KOs) and Hasim “Gold Blooded” Rahman Jr. (12-0, 6 KOs) prepare to battle it out for the “Sons of Legends” Championship Boxing Set. The two undefeated fighters will defend their status and rankings as the main event on Friday, April 29th, 2022 at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. Who will remain undefeated after the main event and who will have to forfeit their undefeated status?

Bishop Gorman alumnus Hasim Rahman Jr. recalls how he initiated his pursuit of boxing , “I was playing football at Bishop Gorman Highschool. Going into my sophomore year, I was being groomed as a middle linebacker." The athlete notes that he soon realized he “wanted to be the next heavyweight champion, not the next super bowl champion.” His father would not allow him to box unless it was the only sport he was pursuing. Rahman Jr.'s choice was made and boxing won.
“My dad signed me up to train with [Emanuel] “Manny” Steward for a couple of months in Detroit…I still use Manny’s training techniques to this day,” he shares. After training with the late Emanuel Steward, Rahman Jr. progressed to The United States Olympic Education Center and eventually made it to the Olympic trials.
Hasim Rahman Jr. has acquired quite the team over the years and has many sponsors including Mercedes Benz, Lolo’s Chicken and Waffles and DLX Boxing, who he expresses “believed in me before I got to the stage…Thank you to my entire team from Brooklyn to Vegas. We worked so hard! We are going to get what we worked for come April 29th.”
Kenzie “TCB'' Morrison began fighting at the age of 21. He had been around the sport his entire life due to his fathers boxing career. Kenzie Morrison began to train and compete in professional fights remains undefeated.
When asked about his most important preparation methods leading up to a fight, Morrison shares, “It varies depending on the opponent and their style. For this fight in particular we knew the opponent is more athletic and mobile so we focused on a lot of cardio, movement and punches,” Morrison mentions.
One of the most challenging portions of a fighter's career is training, Morrison mentions. “Training camps are the hardest part. Training and preparation. By the time you get in the ring, all the hard work has been done. Everything you do in preparation to fight reflects in the ring,” he explains.
Both Morrison and Rahman are prepared to perform their best in the “Sons of Legends” Championship Boxing Set. Both Morrison and Rahman spawn from heavyweight world champions, both are dedicated to their sport, both remain undefeated and ready to win!
