This winter, one of New York’s most popular restaurants, Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer, will be making its West Coast debut at Venetian.
Co-owner Joe Isidori, a Michelin starred chef, is excited to expand outside the Big Apple. “We feel that Black Tap is going to be a great addition to the Las Vegas scene,” he says. The restaurant, whose first outpost opened in 2015, will feature around 15 craft burgers—the Texan Burger is Isidori’s favorite—a huge selection of craft beers, a fun cocktail menu and its signature Crazy Shakes, which have something of a cult Instagram following. “Our Crazy Shakes have garnered worldwide attention,” Isidori says. “We have lines wrapped around the corner in all of our restaurants; people from all over the world—Italy, Germany—and all over the United States wait hours to get in and enjoy one.” Located next to the Venetian poker room, Black Tap’s patio overlooks the resort’s iconic canals and gondolas. “My whole focus is the quality,” Isidori adds. “It’s about a perfect, all-American burger cooked on a griddle with two pieces of American cheese on a soft Martin’s potato bun with special sauce. That’s really the root of what we do.” blacktapnyc.com
