Fresh off the debut of Summertime Happiness, an interactive art exhibit at Fashion Show Las Vegas, Adam Rellah—better known as abstract pop artist Pretty Done (prettydone.com)— shares what art means to him.

What sparked your passion for art? I’ve always loved art, logos and characters. I started drawing with pen and paper for many years and then evolved into painting and now endless mediums.

What inspires you? Life! Music, feelings, conversations, food, patterns, linguistics, messaging, life lessons, happiness.

Tell us about your most recent project at Fashion Show Las Vegas and the inspiration behind it.Summertime Happiness is an art room exhibit at Fashion Show, and it has been awesome working with them. The inspiration was fun, summer vibes, photography, little pops of color and something special that Vegas has never seen before.

Why is art important and what does it mean to you? It’s a reflection of the time and the person’s way of thinking. It means everything to me. I love and live it every day; I’m constantly creating.

Words to live by? Stay authentic, push yourself, take action and always do your best.

My secret dream is to... paint the world.
