A Balanced Workout at Barre3

To get lean and cut like Madonna, head to Henderson’s new Barre3, a studio and method founded by Sadie Lincoln, one of the Material Girl’s personal trainers. The fitness hub, open Monday through Saturday, is attached to Whole Foods Market in The District at Green Valley Ranch. Classes incorporate yoga, Pilates, ballet, and small exercise equipment (think yoga straps, weights, and core balls) to target specific muscles and help clients crest fitness plateaus. Intense without the heavy cardio, the workout uses a three-step, 60-minute program to produce fast results. The number in Barre3 symbolizes balance, practice, and life, all of which intertwine into its mantra and fitness culture. While there are 25 Barre3 studios across the country, the Henderson location, owned by a local mom, Jackie Edlund, is the first in Nevada.
