Margie’s Mark International Women’s Day Brunch was held on Sunday March 10 at Double Helix.
We celebrated Margie Samuels, the woman who made Maker’s Mark iconic by creating the name, label, and hand dipped wax top. Ladies enjoyed a 3 course brunch paired with Maker’s Mark cocktails while making their own Mark. Each guest wrote themselves a time capsule letter that was hand dipped in red wax just like Maker’s Mark to be opening in 2029. Deb & Erin Orozco of Country Bonnet Soaps shared their their story on how they got started and guests also took home bath bombs and soap.
