Premier guest room at Palms Casino Resort
Palms Casino Resort’s stylish transformation of its Ivory Tower rooms was barely complete before the resort won a 2012 HOSPY Award for best guest room in the U.S. by local hospitality network NEWH Las Vegas. Part of a $50 million redesign, the rooms were revamped last fall for the first time since Palms’ 2001 opening.
Renowned architect firm Klai Juba Architects was in charge of the project, upgrading all 428 Ivory Tower guest rooms to include more sophisticated accommodations with superior technology, such as a 46-inch Samsung LED screen TV and media hub for connecting many personal electronics, and amenities like cordless phones with multiple lines. As for the color palette, splashes of turquoise, royal purple, and hot pink echo the Palms’ fun and youthful yet upscale vibe.
Sleeping is a dream thanks to Serta Platinum Suite pillow-top mattress and soft bedding, and bathrooms feature ultra-modern step-in showers with frosted glass, magnified make-up mirrors, and vanity lighting. In addition to contemporary flooring, cabinetry, and accents, glossy artwork puts the finishing touch on the rooms' sleek new design. For rates, visit palms.com. 4321 W. Flamingo Rd., 702-942-7777
