I’m so happy to be at the helm for Vegas magazine’s inaugural Valentine’s Day issue. Showing off all sides of my hometown is something I’m very passionate about—and I really feel like our city comes alive in February.
We’re known as Sin City, and so many people associate us with the “Whatever happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas” campaign. But on February 14, couples from all over the world choose our town for a night they’ll remember for the rest of their lives: their engagement. So I’m thrilled this year to celebrate that in Vegas.
Speaking of love, our cover star Kristen Bell impressed me with her down-to-earth interview about longtime beau, comedian Dax Shepard. I enjoy romance as much as the next girl, but I have never really wanted a big wedding. Kristen talks similarly about her feelings regarding her relationship with Dax. I hope you enjoy her engaging interview as much as I did. And Veronica Mars fans, don’t be shocked—her new role in the Showtime series House of Lies is quite cutthroat and sassy!
The rest of the issue is packed with romance, from the prettiest floral jewels and a story checking in with our favorite wedding chapels, to the most romantic spot in town to propose and a guide to the city’s best lingerie stores and most luxe spas offering treatments for two.
There’s so much to do in Las Vegas on Valentine’s Day, so get out there and toast the day of love with your sweetheart, friends, or family. Because if there’s something our town knows how to do, it’s celebrate!
Happy Valentine’s Day!
