  Andre’s

Andre’s
After dinner at celebrity chef André Rochat’s sleek French restaurant, head upstairs to the plush Cigar Lounge, which features Whiskey Wednesdays, held every other month with unlimited tastings of various fine and rare whiskeys. Monte Carlo, 702-798-7151; andrelv.com

Craftsteak
Tom Colicchio’s hot spot is famous for specialties such as Kobe beef, but in certain circles the more-than-200 bourbon and Scotch labels on the menu are almost as much of a draw. The varieties range from classic American whiskeys to ones distilled in the 1930s—the real fun is finding the perfect pairing for your porterhouse. MGM Grand, 702-891-7318; craftrestaurant.com

Double Helix Wine & Whiskey Lounge
While Double Helix’s second location in trendy Town Square may be better known for its fantastic wine selection, we’re more impressed with its whiskey flights— the perfect complement to the watering hole’s shareable mini-entrée plates. Town Square, 6599 Las Vegas Blvd. S., 702-735-9463

Freakin’ Frog
Ever dream of being surrounded by whiskey? At Freakin’ Frog, the entire second floor is dedicated to making that dream a reality. The Whisky Attic, home to more than 600 different varieties, holds the largest collection in the country for a real one-of-a-kind experience. 4700 S. Maryland Pkwy., 702-597-9702

Nine Fine Irishmen
New York–New York’s authentic Irish pub transports patrons from the hubbub and noise of the Strip to a traditional bar filled with Celtic music, signature dishes such as shepherd’s pie and Irish whiskey straight from Ireland’s most famous distilleries: Jameson and Bushmills. New York-New York, 702-740- 6463; ninefineirishmen.com

The Pub
If choosing one of the 200 beers on tap at this Monte Carlo sports bar (and dueling piano bar on weekends) seems daunting, satisfy that sweet tooth with one of The Pub’s alcohol-infused milkshakes, like The Luck of the Irish, with vanilla ice cream, Baileys and Jameson. Monte Carlo, 702-730-7777

Rí Rá Irish Pub
This comfortable Irish pub (it was literally built in Ireland and shipped to Las Vegas), whose name roughly translates as “celebration and good fun,” offers visitors a genuine pub experience teeming with lively music and 140 whiskeys, including 15 exclusive to Rí Rá. Mandalay Place, 702-632-7771

Smith & Wollensky
Aged steaks and aged whiskeys are a perfect combination, and where better to indulge in both than this high-end freestanding New York-style steakhouse? The truly distinguished three-story restaurant showers patrons with customer service and traditional yet succulent dishes. 3767 Las Vegas Blvd. S., 702-862-4100; smithandwollensky.com

Todd English PUB
Celebrity chef Todd English’s modern interpretation of an English pub, PUB (Public Urban Bar) is a charismatic mix of traditional hangout and Vegasstyle decadence. With a wide selection of beers and whiskeys, it spotlights a little bit of everything. Crystals, CityCenter, 702-489-8080

Twin Creeks
The newly remodeled Twin Creeks is all about the bourbon— they love the stuff so much they even put it in the barbecue sauce on their bone-in rib eye. They also offer something called a Rat Pack Man-Tini, which is all we need to know. (If you need to know more, it’s Baker’s bourbon and Drambuie, and it’s delicious.) Silverton, 702-914-8564
