Late-Night Primping at iBlowdry

The latest blow-dry bar and salon to hit the burbs has Vegas-friendly hours.

July 06, 2012

While Blow-dry bars have long been prevalent in LA and New York, Las Vegas has only heeded the trend over the past few years. One of the latest bars to blow in is Tash Jordan and Melissa Bordinhao’s iBlowdry, located off Decatur near Tropicana Avenue.

The boutique salon features a menu of blow-out styles ($35 each), all adorably named after different flowers, that range from super straight and sleek (the Tulip) to voluminous and curly (the Rose) to loose and wavy (the Mimosa).

The best part? iBlowdry is one of the few blow-out salons with after-hours service: The salon is open until midnight Monday through Saturday. Considering how late most nights (and parties) get started in this town, a late-night hair pick-me-up is often a necessity. The salon also offers manicure and pedicure stations, makeup applications, online booking, and fun feather, rhinestone, or tinsel extensions. 5120 S. Decatur Blvd., Suite 102, 702-BLOWDRY
